Bashar has been a life long advocate of healthy and active living with a love for sports that is palpable. He has always had a passion and desire to work in health care and tailored his education to do so. His fascination with the human body and sports medicine led him to pursue an Honors Specialization in Kinesiology degree from Western University. Lower limb biomechanics and pathologies became a field where Bashar desired to become proficient in, which ultimately motivated him to become a “Foot Specialist.” Bashar enrolled in the Chiropody program at the Michener Institute and graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Chiropody. As a registered Chiropodist, Bashar possesses the knowledge and skills to treat a variety of podiatric conditions, while having a passion for diabetic foot management and wound care. Although Bashar has completed his formal education, he understands the importance of being a life-long learner in order to better himself as a healthcare practitioner. Bashar enjoys attending conferences, reading scientific publications, and interprofessional collaborations to enhance patient care. He believes in a multidisciplinary approach to health care and takes every opportunity to establish this in his practice. Bashar’s utmost priority as a practitioner is to improve the quality of life of every patient he sees.
